Here is the film which translates the reality of the regime of president Ahmadinejad into Iran. It was shot during several journeys on the meeting of the people in countrysides. During his journeys inside the country, the president receives numerous letters (the government claims 10 millions) resulting from poor Iranians asking of the help.

The film uses these letters as a narrative thread and as a means to supply an outline on Iran generally little known by foreigners. Although he cannot prove that the statements of the government claiming that this charity resolves the problems evoked in most of the letters, the film shows obviously that propaganda and promises illuminate the hope discouraged of these poor people.

A hope which gives birth to various means not to discourage, particularly at the poor monks who turn their faith to a Messiah, SHIA, the MAHDI, which will come to the end of time to bring the justice to the world. In the sacred Mosque where Mahdi will reappear one day, poor people write him letters which they throw in a well to wishes, there espèrant that their prayers can be fulfillled.

No more current events than ever, the film draws up, without concession, a portrait of the deep divisions in Iran, showing as well the supporters of the president as his opponents and illustrating the hypocrisy of the regime in place.
